At Gershon Biegeleisen & Co., we organize our professional staff into specialized fields so as to allow each of our staff members to develop an expertise in a particular area. Staff members continue to receive ongoing training in the field in which they specialize in order for them to remain current with the latest changes in the industry.
Departmentalizing allows each staff member to acquire an in-depth knowledge of one area, and to keep current with the constant changes within that area, instead of trying to cover all aspects of the accounting profession. In this way, we can offer the skills of an accountant who can provide for the special needs of each client.
However, because it is critical that every accountant has a solid background in all aspects of tax and accounting to properly provide services, each of our staff members, regardless of which department they specialize in, continues to do some work in other areas under the supervision of experienced managers, and continues to receive basic training in all areas, as well.
